Off to london!

1 day of slacking is nv enuff... Tts something i learnt juz 1 day after slacking back in pitt... Thought i'd be ready to fly off but yeah, i was kindaf hoping we could fly off a little later after tt day... Still haven really properly cleared up my room... Yeah, was kindaf lazy too... Fer some unknown reason, i haven been able to relax totally yet... Mebbe cos i haven really enjyoed myself to the max to the pt tt i watned to go to do other stuff... But oh well, i'm leaving fer london liao so cant really say anything more... Just leave lorz... Spent quite a little time packing n stuff, n before i know it, i'm off!

The flight to Charlotte was nice, had a gd sleep then... The Charlotte airport was really great, it has lotsaf shops n stuff to eat or shop... As compared to the stupid Toronto airport which has nothing but expensive n sucky food... Have i mentioned tt the last time? If i din, well, its really sucky... Advice: Eat ur lunch or breakfast or dinner or wadever b4 u go to the airport... unless u wanna eat expensive n sucky food... Then we had a 7 hr flight to london... The dinner was gd, i feel, better than the NW ones... Coleslaw, apples, beef, everything was nice... Even the cream crackers were nice too... THe only bad thing was, i cant get to sleep!! Yar, coming from me, i know its a lil surprising, after all, i've always been the sleep king... Having a repute for being able to sleep anywhere, any time if i wanted too... From all the past flights n greyhound bus n wadever... But this time, i actually had a hard time sleeping... Kept thinking bt things, about ppl, n about how i did on the finals... Even though my most dangerous subject was over, but i just couldnt help but worry bt the rest... But in the end, after an hr or so, i finally slept... For ard 3 hrs i think...

those 3 hrs really helped... Reached london at 8 am london time, which corresponds to 3 am US time n 4 pm Sg time... So in fact, i slept fer only 3 hrs tt day... The london airport wasnt as great as i thought it would be but oh well charlotte has been too great a sight to behold... Took a rail n then a tube (underground train, or rather MRT) to our destination, realised that its actually kindaf similar to singapore... In the sense that its subway is really similar to our MRT, n the streets were once again left hand drive... Met up with Tj's frens n we managed to get his fren's room to ourselves, all 5 of us... which was really great... cos she went to egypt, ALONE... Yar... How brave is that... Considering she's a girl n going to such an exotice place all by herself... I will nv do that lorz... prefer to travel with frens, cos i get bored easily... Need ppl to entertain me.. which of cos, Mingyang has always nv failed to do so... Haha... With his "jokes" n humor... though all mostly bt the same category, but still, good enuff... Lol... Yeah, really appreciated his fren's gesture, n she even went as far as to lent us her hp and also left her laptop n internet here fer us to use...

Had pad thai fer lunch, i aint a great fan of pad thai, prefer to have more "liao" on my food... Eg more meat or veges or wadever, instead of juz having the staple food... Mebbe tts y i dun like rice so much... But it was not bad, just a lil little... But my aim here is to eat lesser food if i can, to both save money n lose weight... Went to Stamford bridge, the pity being tt i am not able to go into the stadium to have a look... A tic costs 48 pounds, which is a lil ex... If it wasnt fer the fact tt i am trying to travel on a budget, i'd have immediately go wif mingyang to watch the chelsea fulham match... Had a lil nap after tt, which was followed by a great dinner... Met up wif my cousin Darren, whom i haven met fer some time... He brought us to a great dinner wif roast duck n stuff... We ordereed like 1.5 ducks, char siew, beef tripe, fried squid bean curd... all fer 12 pounds... Which was really great food, n the duck had really very crispy skin! Reminds me of the roast duck in sg, which i must definitely eat when i get back! So Johnson Duck, get ready... 1 duck coming up... (fyi, i've ate 1 duck b4... dun ask me how... but i did it... )

Went to do a lil grocery shopping b4 finally gng back... N having an early night... Was thinking tt we could all wake up early the enxt day... Even had the whole schedule planned out... but, yeah, as u'd have probably guessed, we woke up late... A whooping 3 hrs late... Went to convent garden in london, where there's lotsaf shopping to be done... But due to lack of time, n lack of enthusiasm, we din really shop but settled the more impt stuff first... Managed to find tix to "The producers" at 25 pounds, i really wanted to watch a musical, one tt i've nv watched b4... N this fits in the bill nicely... Realised tt its only 2 days b4 christmas so probably, tix wun come cheap... But 25 pounds is really gd, for front seats in the balcony... Went on a walk around the area, london eye, big ben, n several shops before settling fer a japanese meal... I was quite full though, so did not really eat a lot... Din even feel like eating one, but thought it might be good so just try lorz... But the fried chicken is really like in humongous portions, i did not even touch the rice lorz... Just ate the chicken n salad was enuff fer me...

The producers was really nice... I thoroughly enjoyed it... Always loved to watch musicals, i really like those leads with powerful voices, its juz so captivating... It was really comical n funny too, the musical being more of a witty nature than serious form... Really hope to be able to watch another one in maybe, Venice? Hopefully, fate will allow tt... by finding us cheap tix... n good plays... The only thing left fer us to do now is, planning fer tmr... lol...
