Christmas...

Finding our trip very relaxing actually, relaxing as in there's no rush fer us to go to visit any place or anything like tt... which is wad i want in a holiday... Woke up late again on the 3rd day, met up wif PC n chatted a lil b4 gng to Bk fer lunch... Bk yeah... Long time nv eat already, cos US there no Bks near where i stay... N dun think anyone wanna drive just to go BK to eat... Yar lorz... Went to visit the london bridge and tower bridge in the afternoon, which was really quite a sight... London bridge itself is kindaf boring, unlike tower bridge which is much more interesting... No wonder they say "london bridge is falling down"... haha... Went to shop ard a lil n managed to find n buy a england jersey... I aint such a fan of england, but its always nice to get an england jersey at a cheap price... The other jerseys are more expensive, n after the conversion to sg, its comparable to the prices here.., so better dun buy... Walked fer really quite a distance then, n we saw no less than 10 starbucks along the walk, which is ard 1.5 hrs... YEs, 10 different starbucks at diferent places... Always tot british ppl like to drink tea, but guess they've converted to coffee...

Also had a nice lunch at a Dsta fren's place, really appreciated their kind gesture to prepare lunch fer us, even though they juz came back from their holz n leaving again soon... After talking to them, i realised how lucky we are... At least we dun have fixed schedules n finals which are worth 70%... Its much better to have ur course work n everything spread out over the sem, being able to earn enuff points for a more relaxing finals... Never liked last min stress so i always endeavor to try to do as well as possible initially... N being able to plan ur courses definitely better than having to stick to a fixed schedule... Think i really made the right choice in going to US fer studies... But, they have sooo many ppl here... N they play dota! haiz, unlike cmu ppl, wif so lil ppl playing dota... After lunch we took a little stroll along kensington park, but too bad the weather was cold and a little chilly... Thought we've been used to the cold weather in pittsburgh, but however, think becos the wind here is stronger and its a lil more humid, we tend to feel colder... So we went back after like 1.5 hrs of walking, without really being able to reach our destination of hyde park...

Joined our hosts for a christmas dinner, which was really a very enjoyable occasion... Its like a pot luck session, where everyone brings something simple... It was nice meeting new ppl, n also, meeting one of my jc class juniors again... Chatting wif her brings back memories of JC, where i think i really enjoyed myself then... N of cos, reminding me of my old pals back in sg, i wonder if they would actually be thinking of me too... Hmm... Who else but those bunch of jc frens... Really miss them a lot... we had some games after dinner, wif those familar forfeits n stuff... Though it may seem childish, but it really brings back nice memories... Heng i din really kena any bad forfeits, unlike some of my frens who were being forced to act cute... haha... Finally, they got their just deserts for keep making fun of me n my ... Yar, the joke has been on for 1 yr liao, n amazingly, it just keeps going... think mebbe in cmu we shd organise some of this kindaf gatherings n play some games or wadever... but oh yar, the ratio in cmu is like all guys lorz, if not most guys... Think tts e reason y we dun really play games or wadever...
